The short version: use Loopz to learn and have fun, don't abuse it, and understand it's an evolving private beta. Anything your child creates stays theirs. We provide Loopz as-is while we build it in the open.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By using the Loopz website (codeloopz.com) or app (learn.codeloopz.com), you agree to these terms. If you're using Loopz on behalf of a child, you confirm you're their parent or guardian and you accept these terms for them. If you don't agree, please don't use Loopz.
2. What Loopz is
Loopz is a children's learning game, currently in private beta. That means it's actively being built: features will change, new learning stations will open, and occasionally things may break or be unavailable. We're sharing it early because real use makes it better.
3. Using Loopz
- Access during the beta is by invite/explorer code. One code currently covers a household.
- You're responsible for supervising your child's use as you see fit. You know your family best.
- Please don't try to break, abuse, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service, or use it to harm others.
4. Things kids make
Loopz lets children create things, such as levels in the Workshop or art in the studio. Those creations belong to your family. To run features like sharing a level by code, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content within Loopz. We don't claim ownership of it and we won't sell it.
5. Beta, "as-is"
Loopz is provided "as is" and "as available" during the beta, without warranties of any kind. We can't promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that progress data will never be affected as the product evolves. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loopz and its founder aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the beta.
6. Privacy
How we handle data is described in our Privacy policy and COPPA notice. In short: kids' play is anonymous, we don't show ads, and we never sell data.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as Loopz grows. We'll update this page and its "last updated" date, and we'll flag anything significant to waitlist members.
